Countries in the world. Bangladesh is one of them. The Official name of
this country is The People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a
Independent Country in South Asia. Islam is the State Religion of
this country, but other main religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and
Christianity are practiced in peace and harmony.
Nationality is Bangladeshi and Dhaka is the Capital City of Bangladesh “Bangla” is the National and State Language of Bangladesh. The National Anthem is “Amar Sonar Bangla” and this National Anthem was written by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
Bangladeshi National Flag is designed according to Bangladeshi Government specifications. It will be must in bottle green and rectangular in size in the proportion of 10:6 and a red circle in the middle. Red circle's radius will be one-fifth of the length of the flag.
“Shapla” resting on water is the National Emblem of Bangladesh. “Shapla” is the Bangla name of “Water Lily” and the National Flower is also “Shapla” resting on water, having on each side an ear of paddy and being surmounted by three connected leaves of jute with two stars on each side of the leaves.
